Lord of the Dance Weds in True Celebrity Fashion.
Thousands of well-wishers turned out to see the 49-year-old Lord of the Dance, Michael Flatley and his beautiful bride Niamh O'Brien tie the knot at St Patrick's Church in Fermoy, County Cork.
The couple, who were both a fashionable 50 minutes late for the 2pm service, arrived in a Rolls Royce Phantom. Niamh also a dancer, wore an £80,000 Badgley Mischka dresswith a fish tail veil, she had a very elegan bouquet of deep-red roses. Michael, meanwhile, sported a black tailcoat with a white tie.
The Chieftains delighted the guests with a 30-minute session while dancing from many of Michael's shows also featured in the entertainment .
After a short honeymoon it will be back to rehearsals for Michael for the tour of their new show Celtic Tiger.Oct '06' |

Desperate Housewives actor Dougray Scott is engaged to actress Claire Forlani.

MTV VJ and former Miss USA, Susie Castillo married her long-time beau, Matthew Leslie, in an intimate ceremony at his parents' home in Ipswich, Mass. Leslie, 26, had proposed on live television during the 2004 Miss USA pageant. Pamela Anderson and Kid Rock got married – although not when Anderson said they did.
On Aug. 2, Anderson posted this message on her Web site: "Just Married! It's official. Just left the courthouse!!!! Mr. and Mrs. Ritchie have left the building." However, it was later confirmed Anderson and Rock (real name: Robert Ritchie) in fact wed the next day in California.
It is believed that, Anderson, 39, and Ritchie, 35, quietly made their union legal at the Beverly Hills Courthouse on Thursday morning. Brigitte Nielsen married her fifth husband, Mattia Dessi, a former model from Italy, at the five-star Radisson SAS Golden Sands Resort & Spa in Malta.
Nielsen, who turns 43 on July 15, and Dessi, 28, held a wedding ceremony in the Dominican Republic on Feb. 21, 2005 – but the nuptials were not legal because Nielsen had not finished divorcing her fourth husband, former race car driver Raoul Meyer.

Mitchell's engagement ring is a 3.5-carat yellow diamond by designer Louis Glick. This will be the first marriage for both the actress and Cameron, who plan to wed next year.

Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall better known as Charles and Camilla
The Duchess wore a Robinson Valentine chiffon dress and silk embroidered coat for the civil ceremony at the Guildhall. Topped with an eye-catching Philip Treacy hat. The Duchess then changed into a porcelain blue silk floor-length coat-gown enhanced with gold thread detail and a flowing fishtail train. The intricate pattern, which was layered with five tones of gold thread, was based on a piece of jewellery which belonged to the Duchess' beloved mother. While the Duchess opted for a French lace-trimmed straw confection for the civil ceremony, it was a unique gold-leafed feather headdress, tipped with Swarovski crystal diamonds, which completed her second ensemble.

Not So Cold Feet
TV star John Thomson tied the knot with his partner of four years Sam Sharp. The Northern Irish actor, who is better known as love-lorn Pete Gifford in Cold Feet, walked down the aisle at Kilmerston Church in Somerset.
His onscreen co-star James Nesbitt performed best man duties.
John was sporting a sharp white suit for his big day while Sam opted for a flowing white chiffon number complemented by a diamond tiara. Whatever Happened To Class?
When innocently venturing into a local newsagent recently to purchase a newspaper I found myself bombarded with images of the famous Jordan and her unnaturally tanned man Peter André. On further inspection, yes I am ashamed to say I looked out of curiosity, I discovered that the ever-famous busty blonde had tied the knot with Peter. Unfortunately for my sensitive eyes the piece contained more photographs than text.
The couple's mode of transport for the day was a large pink and shiny
pumpkin carriage-Cinderella style! Though André looked like he had spent a fortnight hibernating in his personal sunbed he was donned rather conservatively when stood beside his partner. The makers of Barbie wouldn't stretch to such tackiness! Jordan wore a flabergastingly poofy pink dress that glinted in the sun and wore, what I suppose she considered her piéce de résistance, a pink diamante tiara that looked suspiciously like something I
recently saw a six year old pull from a lucky-bag.
And I thought to myself; if this is the kind of wedding that fame and money can buy then I am quite content being utterly broke.
For all despairing wives-to-be who fear financial arguments with their fiancé will result in divorce even before "I do" has been said, I beseech you to go pick up a copy of a magazine and with a smile that I can guarantee say to yourself: At least I won't look like that. |

Titanic star Kate Winslet married her boyfriend, American Beauty director Sam Mendes.
The top secret ceremony took place in the West Indies, while the two were on holiday in late May. The wedding was witnessed by just three close friends and the bride's two-year-old daughter Mia.
“We’re very happy, unbelievably happy,” she said. “It’s one of those unexplainable things that we’re together.”
